School Ministry

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Here at CCFP we have a great relationship with our elementary schools in Chatham - Georges P. Vanier, Monsignor Uyen, St. Angela Merici and St. Ursula.

Ali Chinnick, with volunteer catechists, also visits all the classrooms from JK to grade four.  She uses a storytelling method called Growing in God’s Stories to help the children prepare for First Reconciliation, First Communion and understanding the parts of the Mass. Our priests celebrate Mass with each of the schools about every 2 months. Confessions are offered at each school throughout the year.

High School

We are also involved with the Catholic Secondary School, Ursuline College (UCC). We are involved in their Masses, liturgy and confessions throughout the year. We work closely with the chaplain at the Pines who uses the church facilities for opportunities for service like the 24 hours of service or for various retreats.
